We have had a few reports of another scam hitting the area. The caller claims to be a relative needing bail money. Please, don’t give any financial information out unless you are absolutely sure of who you are talking to. Always check, ask what jail they are in and call and verify or ask a personal question only they would be able to answer.
Ballinger PD is trying to identify these 2 suspect in reference to a theft that occurred on 12/23/17 at Wal-Mart. They were seen driving a older white Mini Van. If you have any information please contact us at 325-365-3591 or pm us. All information gathered will be confidential
U.S. Representative K. Michael Conaway (R-Texas) will hold a town hall meeting in Ballinger, TX at the City Council Chamber on September 1st from 3 pm – 4 pm.
The town hall is open to the public and members of the media.

The City of Ballinger is accepting applications for candidates to place their names on the ballot to serve on the Ballinger City Council starting July 22, 2017 and ending August 21, 2017. You can file your applications with the City Secretary, Bonita F. Shields at the City hall located at 700 Railroad Avenue, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day
