Proceeds go to Justin Byler Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Participants will be able to leave the event finish and go straight to the courthouse lawn to partake in the Memorial Day presentation put on by the local VFW and American Legion.  Forms can be turned into The Treadmill or Lindsey’s Salon or Mail forms to Chad McDuffee 309 N. Broadway, Ballinger, TX 76821.

Parade Entry Form

1. There is no entry fee to be in the parade.

2. Judging Categories are: Floats; Antique or Classic Vehicles; Other Decorated Vehicles; Walkers-Bicycles-Others.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd Place in each category.

3. Line up at the corner of 6th and Railroad Ave. by 9:00 a.m. on April 29th. Parade will begin at 10 a.m.

Carnegie Library’s Taste of Ballinger – Tuesday, February 21st

Save the Date!

The Carnegie Library’s annual Taste of Ballinger will be held Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at the Community Center from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  The ticket price is $8.00 and will be sold at the door. You can buy tickets early at Carnegie Library, Curiosities, and City Hall. Take out plates will be available. Area churches are offering some of their best recipes so come enjoy an evening of good food and fellowship.  Taste of Ballinger cookbooks will be available for purchase.  This fund raiser benefits our beautiful Carnegie Library.

Retirement Party for Chief Mark McNulty – Nov. 7 from 4-6 p.m.

The City of Ballinger will host a retirement party for Chief Mark McNulty from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 at the Ballinger Community Center.

He will be honored for his 19 years of service to the Ballinger Police Department.

The community is invited to attend.

McNulty will be also be honored for his service to the department and the community during the Noon City Council meeting on November 7, 2016.
