Here at the BPD we would like to give thanks to Jon Gore (aka: JC) for his many years of service.
JC has officially retired from Law Enforcement today and “roll up is apron”.
JC started and ended his career here in Ballinger. He became a Peace officer in 1985 joining the BPD. In 2000 he was appointed Chief of Police and ran with it for 12 years. He handed the torch over to Mark McNulty in 2012, but continued to serve the community as a reserve working at the schools and special events.
JC is a special breed helping anybody in his path. He is a little man with a big heart, we will miss working with him.
Please call PD Dispatch if you are missing your pet.
The City of Ballinger will host a retirement party for Chief Mark McNulty from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7 at the Ballinger Community Center.
He will be honored for his 19 years of service to the Ballinger Police Department.
The community is invited to attend.
McNulty will be also be honored for his service to the department and the community during the Noon City Council meeting on November 7, 2016.
