Jon (JC) Gore Retiring from Law Enforcement

Here at the BPD we would like to give thanks to Jon Gore (aka: JC) for his many years of service.

JC has officially retired from Law Enforcement today and “roll up is apron”.

JC started and ended his career here in Ballinger. He became a Peace officer in 1985 joining the BPD. In 2000 he was appointed Chief of Police and ran with it for 12 years. He handed the torch over to Mark McNulty in 2012, but continued to serve the community as a reserve working at the schools and special events.

JC is a special breed helping anybody in his path. He is a little man with a big heart, we will miss working with him.
